Recreation Roller Hockey Wraps Up Busy Weekend

On Sunday, November 18th, the GC Rec. Hockey Staff hosted their End of the Season Pizza Party & Awards Ceremony over at Cluett Hall at St. Pauls. The kids were treated to an afternoon of pizza, awards and special raffles. All of the kids were also presented with medals for their participation in this season. Special awards such as MVP, coaches and Sportsmanship, along with Most Improved and Outstanding Performance as a Goalie Awards were given out.

This weekend also marked the debut of our Brand New Stanley Cup and the Cup was also on hand Sunday for Photo Ops after debuting at the Rinks on Saturday during the Championship Games. The Hockey Staff would like to once again congratulate the San Jose Sharks of the Mites Division. The Colorado Avalanche of the Junior Division and the Columbus Blue Jackets of the Senior Division on winning their championship Games. The entire hockey staff would like to thank everyone for another great season of roller hockey and we should like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a great Holiday Season.
