Storybook Parades And Assembly Mark Halloween

Stewart School second-graders dressed up for their assembly. Cruella De Vil, usually known as Homestead School Principal Suzanne Viscovich, with a puppy, otherwise known as a Homestead School student, straight out of the pages of The Hundred and One Dalmatians, the novel by Dodie Smith on which the classic "Dalmatian" films are based, in the Storybook Parade at Homestead. The Stratford School Band provided music for the Homestead School marchers. The Statue of Liberty (a.k.a. Jane Jordan, kindergarten teacher at Homestead School) and cheerleaders. Cinderella, usually known as Locust School Principal Jean Ricotta, with Locust School students, as they marched around the schoolyard to the strains of Boris Karloff's classic rendition of that notable Halloween favorite, the Monster Mash.
