A Word From The Publisher This week as we celebrate Thanksgiving with our friends and family it is a good time to count the blessings in our lives, and consider ways to help others who are less fortunate. Here are some constructive ways we can use our blessings to help others: If we are blessed with good health - volunteer in a hospital to help the ill. If we are blessed with a happy family life - volunteer to mentor a young person, or help victims of domestic violence. If we are blessed with wealth - donate some to a favorite charity that aids the poor. If we are blessed with an enjoyment of reading - help teach others to read. If we are blessed with friends - make an effort to include someone who seems lonely the next time you do something. An unobvious truth about volunteering is the more you give, the more you get. There is something good for the soul knowing that you have helped ease someone else's life just a little bit.
Happy Thanksgiving
