Scoutmaster Training Program

The future leaders of Boy Scout Troop 56 recently attended Assistant Scoutmaster Training at the Schiff Scout Reservation in Wading River. The attendees learning how to pitch tents, cook, wash dishes, set up camp, work with wood tools and ropes, as well as first aid and other outdoor skills. They The new leaders will pass what they learned on to the scouts as they move up in rank. Troop 56 is sponsored by the Garden City Community Church.
