DAR Hosts December Luncheon

The Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold a December luncheon meeting at the George Washington Manor in Roslyn, on Tuesday, December 4th at 11:30 a.m.

Those who wish to car pool to the luncheon are asked to meet in the parking lot behind Key Food by 10:30 a.m.

The luncheon program will be "History of Christmas Customs," presented by Chapter Regent Janet Littlejohn.

Members are reminded that, as usual, American Indians Chairman Leslie Dimmling will be collecting new clothing during the luncheon, to be sent to the Onondaga Indian reservation in Nedrow, New York. Clothing for younger children from size infant to size 8 would be the most helpful, with an emphasis on warm clothing.

Reservations for the luncheon may be made by sending a check for $33.00 a person, payable to the Chapter, to treasurer Shirley Weiss, no late than November 21 st.
