GC Resident Leads AHRC Walk-a-thon

Garden City resident, Nicole Nolan Koester, led the aerobic warm-up for the Nassau County AHRC Foundation's annual walkathon at Eisenhower Park on November 4th. An enthusiastic crowd of over 500 participants, including students from Garden City, turned out to show their support for this worthy cause. The AHRC helps children and adults with developmental disabilities live as independently as possible by supporting programs and services, including early intervention, autism, community living and family support.
