St. Francis Day At The Cathedral

The Adopt-a-Pet Mobile from the North Shore Animal League attended in hopes of finding new homes for some awesome animals.
This year's celebration of St. Francis of Assisi Day and the Blessing of the Animals service at the Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation was a huge suc-cess as always. The Fall Fair before the service was a fun time for all the participants. Those who stayed afterwards for a demonstration of the Cathedral's magnificent pipe organ enjoyed the opportunity to hear and learn more about this instrument. But most of all, the animals and their owners flocked to the Cathedral to gratefully receive a blessing. For many, especially the pets, it is the favorite service of the year!

No, no! Not on the lectern please!
Members of the Cathedral Choirs Development Fund sold a lot of goodies at the Fall Fair to help fund the Choir events.
The congregation, owners and pets, await the start of the service.
The blessing was just a marvelous experience! I am panting with pleasure!
