GCHS Performance Of "The Diary Of Anne Frank"
To prepare for their challenging roles, cast members studied at the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County. While there, they listened to a presentation by holocaust survivor Werner Reich. Mr. Reich, a native of Berlin, was in hiding during World War II. After being discovered, he was sent to several concentration camps until his liberation in May 1945. The opportunity to speak with Mr. Reich enabled the cast to learn more about those who suffered at the hands of the Nazi regime during World War II. Tickets are $10 and $8 for students and senior citizens. Group rates are available. Call 516-478-2531.
