WPOA November Meeting

The Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) will hold a general meeting on Wednesday, November 14, at 8 p.m. at Homestead School. All residents of the Western Section are welcome.

At this meeting, a Nominating Committee will be formed to review applications and interview candidates for the posi-tion of Village Trustee, a two-year term that begins in April 2008. Any resident of the Western Section of the Village who is interested in applying is urged to submit a letter of interest and a resume to: Mr. Tom Whalen, WPOA Secretary, 41 Dartmouth Street, Garden City, NY 11530. The deadline for submission of applications is November 26.

The Western Section of Garden City is bordered on the north by the main line of the LIRR, on the east by the west side of Tanners Pond and Edgemere Roads, on the south by Cambridge Avenue and on the west by Jefferson Street.
