Even the pouring rain couldn't stop these boys. After much grueling play battling the Commack Vipers in the pouring rain, the Syosset United U-10 Boys Team defeated them with a score of 2-1. Spencer Stein, the leading team striker, scored the two goals, with Victor Wiseman on one of the assists. The entire team worked hard, having over 10 kicks on goal, and sliding all over the field. The team's success wouldn't be complete without the mention of their outstanding coaches, Coach Bill Eaststeadt and asst. coach, Joe Flick, who week-after-week teach discipline, skill and fair play to the boys.
