Cross Country Champions

The St. Anne's/ Holy Spirit Harriers again shined in the Brooklyn-Queens Diocesan Championships held this past Sunday at Alley Pond Park. Led by Laurel Fisher (1st place) and Jennifer and Stephanie Gerland, the Bantam Girls took home the First Place Championship Trophy. The Bantam Boys led by Bradley Stewart (1st place), Jimmy Searson (3rd place), and Owen Fisher took home the Bantam Boys First Place Championship Trophy. Grace Murolo took Third Place in the Senior Girls division.

Last week the team also took home First Place in the Senior Girls; the Bantam Girls and the Bantam Boys Brooklyn-Queens sectional championships. This was a tremendous effort by the team considering that this was only their first year competing.
