Garden City Basketball - Clinics

We are looking forward to another great season with no tension and no pressure.

We held a clinic on Thursday November 1st for the K-1st-2nd graders. If you didn't receive the email blast to participants, please let us know. Please check the "Upcoming Events" link on our website announcing special events.

On Tuesday November 6th, we will have a Boys 3rd thru 6th grade Clinic from 6:00pm-7:30pm at St Paul's.

On Tuesday November 13th, we will have a Girls 3rd thru 7th grade Clinic from 6:00pm-7:30pm at St Paul's. You must be a participant in our program to attend these clinics.

Friday Night Lights will begin on Friday November 9th 7:30pm at Stewart School. "Friday Night Lights - Streetball" is our Boys 7th thru 10th Grade program.

On Saturday November 17th, we will return to the Professional Athletic Performance Center for specialized sessions on Speed, Agility, and Quickness specifically tailored for the Garden City Basketball program. Only participants in our program may attend this special event. Please reserve your spot by calling Dee at 794-FAST. Our anticipated times for boys and girls are:

* 8:00am - 9:00am 7-10 year olds

* 9:15am - 10:15am 11-13 year olds

* 10:30am - 11:30am 7-10 year olds

* 11:45am - 12:45pm 11-13 year olds

The regular intramural season at St Paul's fieldhouse will start Saturday, December 1st. This year the Garden City Basketball program will operate in the afternoon. We will return to the morning next year. Our schedule is:

* 1:30pm - 3:00pm Boys and Girls K-1st-2nd Clinic

* 3:00pm - 4:30pm Girls 3rd thru 7th grade

* 4:30pm - 5:30pm Boys 3rd/4th grade

* 5:30pm - 6:30pm Boys 5th/6th grade

Our registration fee is $50. There is NO LATE fee. Garden City Basketball will continue to accept late registrations and we will accommodate these participants.

Paper applications may be obtained from our website, St. Paul's-Cluett Hall, the Island Garden, and/or the village of Garden City Recreation Office.

Participants in our program have been sent thank you emails acknowledging registration for Garden City Basketball.

The focus of Garden City Basketball is our intramural program. Our greater mission is to provide a wonderful experience for all of our participants so that a love of the life long game of basketball will be nurtured and grow.
