Antique Fire Truck And Fire Safety Featured

Students at Locust School climbed aboard a fire truck built in 1923 last week, when Philip Huntington, husband of kindergarten teacher Rose Huntington, parked his yellow Brockway Torpedo fire truck in the schoolyard. Mr. Huntington also showed the students a hat, pair of boots, and fire extin-guisher that firefighters used during the first quarter of the 20th century, as well as a more modern jacket, and discussed fire safety.
