Louvre "Tour" Continues

AAUW looks forward once again to welcoming members of the community for the third session of our DVD "tour" of the paintings of the Louvre. We will meet on Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m. at the Garden City Public Library with Joan Stafford as chair for the day.

Noted authority Professor Richard Brettell of the University of Texas at Dallas will introduce us to "Rubens and Flemish Painting: Early German" and to "Rembrandt, Vermeer and Dutch Painting" praised by our audiences and well applauded. You won't want to miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy master paintings with a master instructor.
