Church To Sponsor Fair

Room chairs and volunteers
The chairladies of the Election Day Fair on November 6 th at the Garden City Community Church stand ready to serve from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The art gallery will be under the supervision of Martha Pearson and Martha Yasso. Attic treasures will see Vickie Stanco, Nancy Fay and Alicia Rivera ready to help. Ed Campbell will help shoppers find the right book and Carol Schrafel will do the same in the china and crystal room. The gourmet shop will be chaired by Melva Victorino, and Sue Bashian and Alice Melkonian will meet everyone's holiday needs in decor.

Visitors can be sure that Pat Dalton, Doris Forster, Marion Levins and Valerie Ignatowitz will have a special gem for them to take home, and handbags and accessories will be under the direction of Christine Hanson. The toy room will be staffed by Karin Melkonian, Alice Melkonian and Melissa Bradley.

Beth Schroeder and Julie Germano will be taking care of raffle baskets filled with goodies, and Debra Weber has lined up the very best vendors.

What would the fair be like without the silent auction chaired by Arlyn and George Rath and Barbara and Bill Haynes? They have some special things in store this year.

Shoppers can take a break in the All-American Cafe, where Kimberly and Kendall Pauley, Charlotte Mitchem and Janice Salem will play host with their famous chicken salad repast along with coffee, tea, and of course, a wonderful All-American apple pie, homemade and done to perfection. Jack Nothel will chair the committee to insure the orderly flow of traffic through the rooms and they will answer questions as to locations.
