Comiskey's 8 Year OId Ironmen Battle East Rockaway

In a highly competitive contest, Coach Comiskey's 8 year old Thunder battled the East Rockaway Raiders to a 6-6 tie this past Sunday at Stewart field.

The large crowd witnessed a gallant effort, both offensively nd defensively from the fourteen member "Iron men" team that plays both sides of the line of scrimmage.

The Offense led by by QB Charlie Comiskey, RB'S Brendan 'Moose' Colamussi, James 'Jet' Walczyck, and Shayne "Tank" Gallagher chewed up time and yardage behind the strong offensive line 'Road Graders" Kyle Cortese, Cole Sonner, Colin Paskewitz, Mason Kufs, Brendan Coors, Joe McDonagh, Thomas Riggers, Matt Mascola, and Quinn Walsh.

Coach Kuf's defense dominated the line of scrimmage, allowing Eat Rockaway very few opportunities to advance the ball. Safety Patrick Murtagh led the defensive effort with heart and determination throughout the spirited contest.
