Margaret Gless

Services were held on October 21, 2007 at St. Joseph's Church for Margaret Gless of Mineola and Southold, N.Y. formerly of Garden City. Margaret died October 18 at her residence. Born May 29, 1911 in Belfast Ireland she came to America with her mother and siblings to the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. She moved to Garden City 47 years ago with her husband Walter, a Citibank executive now deceased, and their four children. She leaves her four children, Walter E.Gless of Oakdale Ct., Suzanne Caltagilone of Bay Shore, N.Y., Jeanne Gillander of East Setauket, N.Y. and Eileen Sinclair of Mineola as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Interment was at Calverton National Cemetery. The family requests donations in Margaret's name and made to the charity of ones choice.
