Garden City Basketball - Speed and Agility

We are looking forward to another great season with no tension and no pressure.

Participants in our program have been sent thank you emails acknowledging registration for Garden City Basketball.

On Saturday November 17th, we will return to the Professional Athletic Performance Center for specialized sessions on Speed, Agility, and Quickness specifically tailored for the Garden City Basketball program. Only participants in our program can attend this special event. Please reserve your spot by calling Dee at 794-FAST. Our anticipated times for boys and girls are:

* 8:00am - 9:00am 7-10 year olds

* 9:15am - 10:15am 11-13 year olds

* 10:30am - 11:30am 7-10 year olds

* 11:45am - 12:45pm 11-13 year olds

Friday Night Lights will begin on Friday November 9th 7:30pm at Stewart School. "Friday Night Lights - Streetball" is our Boys 7th thru 10th Grade program.

The regular intramural season is expected to start Saturday, December 1st. We expect to have at least one clinic for each age group in November. The Village Recreation department will establish times for winter sports soon. When we receive our time allocation we will publish our schedule.

This season we are adding new and exciting drills/equipment to our weeknight boys & girls 3rd thru 6th grade clinics as well as to our nationally recognized Saturday K/1st/2nd grade clinic.

Our registration fee is $50. There is no late fee. We are ordering uniforms in October so please register now. Garden City Basketball will continue to accept late registrations and we will accommodate these participants.

Paper applications may be obtained from our website, St. Paul's-Cluett Hall, the Island Garden, and/or the village of Garden City Recreation Office.

The focus of Garden City Basketball is our intramural program. Our greater mission is to provide a wonderful experience for all of our participants so that a love of the life long game of basketball will be nurtured and grow.

The Garden City Basketball intramural program is held Saturdays in the St. Paul's Field House from the middle of November and through the middle/end of March. We have:

* Clinics for Boys & Girls Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade

* Boys intramurals for the 3rd through the 6th grade

* Girls intramurals for the 3rd through the 7th grade

* Boys & Girls 3rd Grade and higher weeknight clinics run with expert instructors and our dedicated coaches

* A variety of special events
