Thunder 9's Down Bellmore 14-12

DeAngelo about to break another big one
Quarterback Andrew Nagel marched the team down the field for a touchdown on the opening series and The Thunder never looked back. Behind the offensive line of Blair, Kavan, McCartney, Murphy, Salsberg, Tiedemann and Tobin, the backfield of Bendary, DeAngelo, Mixon, Ragusa and Ventre pounded away relentlessly at Bellmore all day.

The defensive line repeatedly shut down Bellmore on key third down situations with Halvatzis, Herlihy, Keenan and Murphy. The linebackers and secondary with Lawson, Pappas, and Ryan continually prevented any big offensive plays.

Even with a preseason injury to key player Tim Gormley, the Licitra Thunder 9's have either won or been very close in every game. Congratulations to the team for another solid victory.
