Coaches Comiskey, Kufs, Cortese, and Mascola's 8 year old 'Thunder Boy's are off to a great start winning three of there first five contests.
In week one, Comiskey's 'iron men' faced their practice partner's from Garden City. In a tough contest, the 'Iron Men' prevailed 13-6.
In week two , the boys traveled to L ong Beach only to fall short to a very tough team 13-6.
Behind the powerful running of Shayne'TANK' Gallagher, Brendan'MOOSE' Colamussi, and James'JET' Walczyk, the Thunder outlasted Floral Park 20-13 in week three. QB Charlie 'THE GENERAL' Comisky directed the offense to three touchdowns. The offensive line lead by Kyle Cortese,Colin Paskewitz, Cole Sonner, Mason Kuffs,Matt Mascola,Patrick Murtagh, and Brendan Coors (THE ROAD GRADER'S) dominated the line of scrimmage.
Week four may have been the best game played this year. The Thunder hosted Inwood, but fell short in a highly competitive game 7-0. The defense led by strong secondary Thomas Rigger's, Joe McDonagh, and Quinn Walsh kept the Inwood running backs inside allowing the line led by Billy Illardi to make most of the tackles.
