Christie Pflume moves to cut off an offensive drive

The Garden City Patriettes continued their successful fall season with a win against Albertson this week end. Coming out strong, the Patriettes had no difficulty controlling the ball and keeping the pressure on in the opponent's end. There were numerous scoring opportunities for Garden City, and they capitalized on them, blasting 5 shots into the Albertson goal. The Patriettes defense worked hard to maintain a shut out until late in the second half, but Albertson sent a quick shot across the goal line. The Patriettes walked away with a 5-1 win and a 3-1 record so far in the regular season.
