Softball Champs!!

Garden City resident Chris Gladd (bottom row, second from right)led the VF to their fourth straight and sixth Queens County Court League Championship in eight years. Chris, the VF shortstop, batted .607 during the regular season as the VF captured the Gene Kelly Cup for best overall regular season record. After losing the first game of the three game championship series, Chris batted 8 for 9 (.889) with 6 RBI and 6 runs scored in leading the VF to wins in the final two games to capture the championship trophy. Chris is a personal injury attorney who lives with his wife, Valerie, and children, Taylor and Chase, in the Estates.
