High School Kids Raise Money

This Saturday, October 13th, there will be a garage sale at Lauren Muscarella's house, 4 Sandy Court, to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina who are still trying to put their lives back together after such a life-altering catastrophe. All proceeds will go to the student run club Students-Helping Students who are embarking on a trip down south to New Orleans over their winter recess to work with Habit for Humanity in rebuilding homes in devastated areas. The garage sale will start at 9am and end around 4pm. This is a really great opportunity for people in and outside of the community to not only help out a worthy cause but to get to know one another better and hopefully find some buried treasure!
