GC Resident Honored At College

Former GCHS student Tracy Ridgway was recently honored at Providence College in Rhode Island by being inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Membership is by invitation only and is offered to those freshman and sophomore students who carry a 3.4 grade point average or higher and rank in the top 20 percent of their college class.

Tracy, who is in her sophomore year at PC is active in various school activities including the school newspaper, "P.C. PALS" an educational mentoring program for local youth, as a Volunteer in the local Special Olympics, as well as a participant on several intramural athletic teams.
