Cross Country With Class!

After a great race, Jimmy Searson finishes first!

The Holy Spirit-St. Anne's Cross Country team made their debut Sunday at Cunnignham Park in Queens.

Led by the Bantam boys (1st place) and girls (2nd, 3rd, and 4th place), the junior girls (2nd place) and a spirited run in the Senior girls division, the team proved to be a force to be reckoned with during their first competition, which included ten other teams from the Brooklyn Queens diocese. Congrats to Jimmy Searson who won the Boys bantam division, which he led from start to finish. Coaches Bob Schuler and Ed Woods are very proud of the efforts turned in by this spirited and hard working group. Next meet at Alley Pond Park on October 14th.
