Sharks 8th Grade 2008 Team Try-Outs

Date: Saturday, October 20th, 3:00pm-5:00pm

Location: Stewart Avenue Field

Try-Outs are open to 7th & 8th grade students currently attending school in Garden City.

The 2008 season will include 2 scrimmages and at least 7 Sunday games in the USMMA 8th grade Tri-State league, now in its 5th season. The Sharks have hired current Jr. Lizard's & CW Post Assistant Lacrosse Coach Vincent Della Speranza as head coach for the 2008 8th grade Shark team.

The Shark Team practices and games WILL NOT CONFLICT with any middle school Lacrosse program or any summer travel lacrosse teams.

Practices will start Mid-March on weekends and League Play will conclude no later than June 1st. NO games will be scheduled April 20th or May 25th.

Cost per player will be approx. $250 to cover coaches and league fees. Uniforms and apparel will be extra. No money is made from this program.
