Garden City Teachers Retirement

On Thursday, September 20. the Garden City Retired Educators Association held their annual luncheon to honor their new retirees. Sixty-four people were in attendance. The luncheon was held at the lovely Westbury Manor where former teachers and administrators welcomed the new fifteen retirees into the GCREA. Senior High School: William "Doc" Doherty, Nancy Garbowski, Carol Kinghorn, Paul David Rivadue, Harry Stuckey, Dough Sheer and Linda Vissicchio. Middle School: Phil Jermain, Linda Kastner, Valerie Landers and Tom Schenkel. Stewart School: Anne Kret and Madeline Tierney. Stratford School: Rayna Petrella. Locust School: Carol Link.
