Excel Seminar Begins October 13

Students will learn the basics of how to create computer spreadsheets using the most popular spreadsheet product:

MS Excel.

The following topics covered:

* EXCEL desktop basics,

* entering numbers, text, labels, and formulas.

Excel functions will be covered. Enhancing spreadsheet appearance, using 'copy', 'move' and 'format' commands will be included. Database basics will be introduced.

Basic computer knowledge and WINDOWS experience is necessary.

The cost is only $80 for residents of Garden City and $85 for non-residents.

The 2-session course will be held on Saturdays, 9 AM-1 PM, in the Middle School, Room 142. The dates are 10/13, 10/20. Bring Your Lunch
