Seeking Support

To the Editor:

Hello Garden City! I, Lynn Cipriani, will be biking across the United States this summer with Bike & Build, an orga-nization pedaling to end poverty housing. I need to fund raise $4,000 before my trip. I had to come back to my home town to ask for help! I am a junior at the University of Florida. I have been involved in UF's chapter of Habitat for Humanity for 3 years now. I have built in the poverty stricken areas outside of Gainesville. This past summer I traveled to East St. Tammany Bay near New Orleans, on the Colligate Challenge for Hurricane Katrina relief.

My time volunteering with Habitat led me to Bike & Build. I will be joining their cause this coming summer when I bike over 3,000 miles from Boston, Massachusetts to Santa Barbara, California.

Through cycling trips, Bike & Build directs funds, volunteers, and community and media attention to affordable housing efforts. Please help me raise funds to raise awareness and raise walls. I would appreciate anything that you would be most generous to give.
