The first Evensong presented by the choirs of the Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation will take place on Sunday, October 7 at 4:00 p.m. It will feature the traditional St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals. All are invited to bring their pets for this very special service. And, new this year, the Evensong will be preceded by a very special fair which will take place from 2-4 p.m. called Fall Frolic 2007. The fair will feature raffles, a bake sale , a fall flower sale and refreshments. You and your pets are invited to attend both the Fair and the Evensong. Following the Evensong, there will be a brief demonstration of the Cathedral organ to which all are invited. The Cathedral Choirs are expanding their musical offerings this season and will also offer Evensong on Sunday, October 21 at 4:00 p.m. Come and join this lovely afternoon service which remains a favorite in the Anglican Church.
