Flt. A: Irene Davis (right)- winner, Mary Werner - runner-up

Championship Sunday, Sept. 16, was a great day at the Cherry Valley Club. The weather was beautiful and the membership was out in full to watch the final matches for the men, women and children.

The women's championship was won by Brook Confort, her fourth consecutive win. The last time a championship was won for four consecutive years was 1973-1976 by Ann Walsh.
