"Tour" Louvre With AAUW

No passports will be needed on Monday, October 1 when AAUW presents "Palace to Museum - The Story of the Louvre." The program will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden City Public Library and all are invited.

This DVD presentation is part of the Great Courses offerings and features Richard R. Brettell, Ph.D. of the University of Texas at Dallas. Holder of three degrees from Yale, Dr. Brettell is one of the foremost authorities in the world on impressionism and French painting of the period 1830-1930

Dr. Brettell gives many tips on how to visit the Louvre for maximum enjoyment.
