Senior kicker Dominick Ancona of Garden City was one of three Hobart College football players who earned weekly honors from the Liberty League after knocking off then-No. 22 Carnegie Mellon on Saturday, 27-26. It was the second straight week that Ancona was so honored.

For the second straight week, Ancona scored nine points with his foot, converting all three of his point after tries and both of his field goal attempts. He booted a 40-yard field goal as time expired in the first half and chipped in a 29-yarder in the third quarter that tied the game. Ancona also launched a season's best 48-yard punt. His nine points are tied for the fifth highest single game total by a kicker in Hobart history.
