Senator Hannon Honors Joseph Monaco
Senator Kemp Hannon (R-6th S.D.) recently congratulated Jospeh Monaco as the winner from Stratford School of Senator Hannon's 2007 "There Ought To Be A Law" contest. The annual program honors the ideas for New York State legislation, as conceived by local students. Jospeh's winning entry proposed that anyone 21 years or older have to apply for a drinker's license. He said, if a person is caught DWI or DUI, both their driver's license and drinker's license should be taken away for some time. If somebody already has a DWI or DUI on their license, they should not be allowed to apply for a drinking license without a waiting period.
