Please come and join your friends and neighbors on Friday, September 28th for "Tastings with a Twist" ... an evening of delicious food, drink, and dancing under the stars with the Jim Roberti Band. This much anticipated event, which provides an opportunity to enjoy one last beautiful late summer evening, will be held in the tented garden of Chris and Terry Digan at 65 Third Street from 7:30 to 11:30pm. Most importantly, by sharing this special evening with friends, you'll benefit the American Cancer Society.

Sterling Affairs will provide the evening's cocktails and chef specialties. Walk Street will again generously host their refreshing Martini Bar. And Garden City's own Jennifer Miller will be treating us to an array of delicious desserts. In addition to all of this, there will be wonderful prizes to win. A very special feature of "Tastings" will be back - the diamond jewelry raffle courtesy of H.L. Gross & Bro. Jewelers. For $50 a chance, you could win a stunning pave heart necklace; if you would like to purchase this chance in advance, please send a check for $50 made out to the American Cancer Society to Liz Golden at 56 First Street in Garden City. Some of the other exciting prizes the evening will afford the opportunity to win include: a Day at the Races donated by trainer Mark Hennig and his wife Rosemary, tickets to a very special Radio City Music Hall presentation, a gift certificate for Jennifer Miller Productions for a sweet treat, a Sky Box at Nassau Coliseum to any event donated by Mary Jean Miller & Family, and many, many more.
