Welcoming Club Starts New Year

The Welcoming Club of Garden City welcomes you back to another year of fun filled events and great times. The clubs 1st Movie Night is scheduled for Monday, September 17th. Send checks to reserve your spot for the movie and much more to Laura Martinkat, 116 Sixth Street Garden City.

The Welcoming Club is proud to announce the return of The Amazing Race: Garden City Edition. The race will be held on Saturday, October 6th, inspired by the popular show and renewed and refreshed from the past. Teams of 10 will ride in their own limo, answering questions, finding pit stops, and meeting challenges before moving on to the next round. The winning team will be the first to arrive at the last pit stop. This final destination will culminate the event and the celebration will begin with unlimited beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres. To reserve your place for this event send a check with name, phone and e-mail to Patti Bonvissuto, 104 Meadow St. The cost is $68 per person / $136 per couple.
