yoga classes begin again

Our fall session of yoga will begin the week of September 10th. Connie McKnight, our certified yoga instructor, has designed classes with all ages in mind. Each 12-week course will cost $60 and each class is 55 minutes long. All classes are held in Cluett Hall at St. Paul's. Any resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City is invited to join these relaxing classes. The course schedule is as follows:

The Garden City Recreation Department is pleased to announce its 2007-2008 schedule of classes for our Dance Conservatory, directed by Felicia Lovaglio. Please note, this is only a schedule and registration has not started. Classes are offered for students ages 3 1/2 to 18. A registering child must be the appropriate age by the start of the class in order to attend.

We are pleased to announce that registration has begun by mail only for the 2007-2008 indoor tennis programs for children at our Community Park's Tennis Center. Classes will begin the week of September 24th.

Please make selections carefully as fees are not returnable.

To register: by mail only, no walk-in registrations will be accepted until September 17th. We can not be held responsible for delays in the mail. You can pick up an application at the Recreation Office in Village Hall and you can also make your own by listing your child's name, address, phone number, birth date, grade he/she will be entering in September and the session and classes for which you are registering. Please list a first and second choice. Mail all information with full payment to the Garden City Recreation Department at 351 Stewart Avenue. Please make all checks payable to the "Inc. Village of Garden City."
