Amazing Spring For Team USA

Team USA had an amazing spring season under the leadership of Coach Eric Schay, assisted by Coach Joe Cella and Coach Sandy Reina. They won the title of first place by defeating Spain with a score of 2-0, in the June playoff game. The goals were scored with great enthusiasm by Aileen Quattlander and Charlotte Clement! Aileen was also su-perb throughout the season as starting goalie. Devon Schay, Brigid Reina and Diana Gillette were excellent goalies during the season as well. The defense was a powerhouse, comprised of , JoAnna Abballe, Diana Gillette, Meghan Johan-sen, Sarah Rudkin, Catherine Schay, Devon Schay, and Morgan Taylor. Mid-fields Adriana Cella, Christina Cella, Nicole De Sarno, Bettina Hughes, and Colleen Way played hard and strong all season as did the determined forwards Devon Schay, Christina Whitney, Aileen Quattlander, Brigid Reina, Charlotte Clement and Adriana Cella. Each player on Team USA was crucial to the success of the team. It was an awesome season culminating in great victory.
