Long Island Grand Masters Champions

Grand Masters: Charlie Menges, Phil Volz, Ray McRory, and Tony Giangrasso

The USTA sponsored Men's Grand Masters Leagues are for men 60 years of age or older, with district, region, and section championships, culminating in a national championship. Garden City Casino members Tony Giangrasso, Ray McRory, Charlie Menges and Phil Volz, are members of the Huntington team which won the Long Island region Grand Masters league title in August. Each of these men was undefeated in his doubles matches against the other six teams in the Long Island region. They look forward to treating their wives to a vacation in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., while they compete there for the Eastern Sectional Championship.
