Join Pack 55's Annual Campout

Come join the Cub Scouts of Pack 55 as they celebrate the end of an eventful summer and kick off the beginning of a new year of scouting at their annual Cathedral Campout on Saturday, September 8th. A favorite every year, the boys and their families will pitch tents and camp out overnight right in the middle of Garden City, on the grounds of our sponsor, the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The evening will be complete with songs and skits around the Campfire, roasting hotdogs and s'mores.

Earlier this month about ninety Pack 55 cubs and family members enjoyed a L.I. Ducks game. The Ducks won and so did two Pack members, who received a gift certificate and baseball autographed by Daryl Strawberry as raffle prizes! We will continue our end of summer "Baseball" theme at the Campout with Baseball Bingo and Wiffle ball. Later in September, Pack 55 will visit Yankee Stadium for a private tour.

This year Pack 55 is inviting any boy interested in becoming a cub scout to join us for the Campout's evening activities on Saturday, September 8th, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the Cathedral grounds (only registered scouts and their families may stay overnight). If you are interested in joining scouts or just want to see what we have to offer, come down and check us out. Pack 55 ROCKS!!!
