Wacky Water Day At Resurrection

The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection hosted the first annual Wacky Water Day earlier this summer. Approximately 30 families enjoyed an afternoon of splashing on the "Bonsai Slide" and slip ' 'n slides. The children then played organized water games such as water balloon volleyball and a pass the sponge, fill the bucket water relay. There was an arts and crafts table with suncatchers and visors. The smaller children played in wading pools and played a fishing game. The day ended with an endless toppings sundae treat. Not only was the weather beautiful for the event, but everyone really enjoyed an afternoon of good old fashioned fun.

Resurrection-Garden City is a Christian community of faith located at 420 Stewart Avenue. All are invited to worship at 5:30 PM on Saturdays and at 8:30 and 11 AM Sunday mornings, with Christian Education at 9:45 AM.
