We have a bit of a problem. There are a few of our members who are housebound. They would like to attend our various functions, including the in-house and pizza party. But, they lack transportation. if you are in a position and willing to pick up one or two of the individuals, please let us know. We will comprise a list and try to coordinate an exchange of information. We will not publish the list. We will send your name and phone number to each housebound member. He will contact you directly. Please help. Call Joe Leto 248-9022.

welcome to the

officers club

Our August 22 nd luncheon trip to the USMMA did not get us rave reviews. The food was fabulous. However, members are opting for carpool rather than bus. Our next planned trip is Wednesday September 19 th. The menu includes Virginia ham, sweet potatoes and seasonal vegetables. We will try the car pool method. But, like any restaurant/eating place parking spots are NOT guaranteed. Also less than 10 people will NOT have a reserved table. Like the parking, you hunt for a spot. We hope to have more than 10 and reserve a few tables. We'll see. The $15.00 lunch charge will still be paid at the door. If you care to participate, call Joe Leto at 248-9022. Non-member residents of Garden City are welcome. We will car pool at the center or you may car pool individually and meet at the Academy. If you plan to car pool individually, let us know and we will include you in the count for reserved tables.
