Walsh ~ Lagarde Engagement

Maureen Walsh and Olivier Lagarde

Richard and Fran Walsh of Shelter Island and formerly of Garden City, announce the engagement of his daughter Maureen to Olivier Lagarde, son of Patrick and Chantal Lagarde of Toulouse, France. The couple was engaged in February 2007 in Cannes, France.

Maureen is a graduate of Garden City High School, and George Washington University Mount Vernon College and works in development for New York University. She is the daughter of the late Donna Walsh of Garden City and Shelter Island, New York.

Olivier received degrees from the University of Toulouse and Polythenic of Nantes. He is a robotics engineer for RECIF Technologies at IBM in Fishkill, New York.

A February 2008 wedding is planned.
