Gladiators In England

Costa Trikas, Kyle Lynch and Vinnie Tavernese, members of the U14 Garden City Gladiators pictured at Old Trafford Stadium, home of the world famous Manchester United Soccer Club in Manchester England this summer at the conclusion of a successful tour of the Long Island Junior 1993 ODP Select team. After a spring and summer of training, 21 players from various clubs across Long Island made the trip to England and took to the pitch to play against some of the best youth footballers that the UK had to offer.Competing against the academy teams from soccer powerhouses Liverpool,West Ham United and Manchester United. Great friendships were made and memories to last a lifetime.
