Homemakers Update
The public is invited to attend the group's monthly afternoon meetings. Sandwiches, tea and coffee will be served. The Wine and Dine bridge fundraiser was a success thanks to the hard work of board members and guests. The group was able to raise enough money to send a local child to 4H camp and give generous donations to local charities. The following merchants made generous contributions: Asian Moon, Bacala's, Long Island Liquor, Leo's, Davenport Press, St. James, Alpine Garden, Jona-thon's and Bairrada Radizio BBQ. Friends and members also donated many fine wines. The Homemakers would like to congratulate members Elizabeth Dunleavy and Dee Devries, who received their 25-year pins.
