County Clerk Welcomes Intern

Nassau County Clerk Maureen O'Connell, right, recently reviewed documents with summer intern Katelin Foley. Katelin, who works in the legal division at the County Clerk's office, discussed with Clerk O'Connell the importance of the service that is performed. The Legal Department is responsible for filing judgments and several other different types of court documents, including liens, notaries, business names and lawsuits. "Katelin has been a tremendous asset to the department this summer," stated Ms. O'Connell. Katelin will be returning to Saint Joseph's University at the end of the summer, where she is studying criminal justice.
