Rotary Clubs To Hold Charity Golf Outing

On Wednesday, September 19, the Williston Park and Mineola-Garden City Rotary Clubs will jointly host their sixth annual Golf Outing and Dinner at the Harbor Links Golf Course, Port Washington. Registration is at 11:30 a.m.; lunch, 12 p.m., and shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner will follow at the Link's newly constructed and beautifully appointed clubhouse.

Members of the Golf Committee noted that past outings have been resounding successes with both beautiful weather and challenging golf. They look forward to a great turnout and repeat success for this year with the two clubs pulling together in support of their respective charities.

The success of these outings has given each of the clubs the ability to further support many community activities as well as on-going commitments to The Cancer Center for Kids Programs at Winthrop University Hospital; the Colette Coyne Melanoma Awareness Cam-paign; the Rotary Sunrise Campaign and Rotacare (a weekly medical "MASH UNIT" to help uninsured people in dire need of medical attention.

The Golf Committee is seeking support through sponsorships as follows:

Photo Sponsor - $1,250; Shirt Sponsor - $1,000; Lunch Sponsor - $500; Cocktail Sponsor - $500; Putting Green Sponsor - $500; Award Sponsor - $300; Golf Course Beverage Cart Sponsor - $250; and Golf Tee Sponsor - $125.

Reservations include Golf and Dinner at $250 per person ($215 when registering an entire Foursome). Included are Lunch, Driving Range, Golf Cart, Cocktail Hour and Dinner. Dinner only reservation (7 p.m., including Cocktail Hour, 6:30 p.m.) is $60 per person.
