Renovation Update

The Garden City Public Library's renovation project has entered a new phase, as drywall work has commenced on the main floor. Meetings have been held with the contractor responsible for installing new shelving in the Young Adult Department, the readers' lounge and audio-visual area on the lower level to confirm placement of the new equipment. The new air-conditioning system for the lower level is nearing completion, and orders will be made shortly for microcomputers and peripherals for the new computer lab.
