Kids Care Car Wash

If your car needs a good summer clean up or even if it doesn't, please come and support the Kids Care Car Wash on Sunday, August 5. The car wash will take place at approximately 11:15, after the 10:00 Mass in the parking lot of the Cathedral House adjacent to the church. The young people of the Cathedral of the Incarnation will supply the elbow grease to give your car a shining appearance. All proceeds from the car wash will be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies for Nassau County Foster Care Children entering first and second grade this fall. These children have often had to leave their homes with few or no personal possessions. Often they start the school year without the proper supplies or with overly used materials. Help Kids Care give them a positive start to the new school year by supporting the car wash. If you do not need a car wash, feel free to drop by and give a donation. Or, shop the local back to school sales and drop off items such as composition notebooks, crayons, markers, ruler, erasers and pencils. Don't be deterred in helping if Sunday is not a good time for you. Donations of supplies or money may be dropped to The Cathedral Office at 50 Cathedral Avenue, Garden City.
