Adelphi Basketball Camp

There is one week left for the Adelphi University boys basketball camps this summer.

The last session is July 30th August 3rd for boys 6 - 16 years old.

The camp will be conducted at Adelphi Universities Woodruff Hall from 9am to 3pm.

The cost is $210 per camper.

There will be various college and high school coaches and college players on staff.

Lunch consisting of 2 slices of pizza and a soda is included.

Indoor swimming facilities with a professional lifeguard staff are available daily.

The camp director is Adelphi Men's Head Coach James Cosgrove. Coach Cosgrove and his staff have guided Adelphi to a 104-47 record over the last five years. During this time, Adelphi has won four conference championships and has ap-peared in four NCAA Division II tournaments. During Cosgrove's tenure, Adelphi has had seven All- Conference and six All-Met players. He has also developed numerous All-American college players.

The camp will have a focus on fundamentals, fun contests, and lots of games will be played.

Paper applications may be obtained from our website, St. Paul's-Cluett Hall, the Island Garden, and/or the village of Garden City Recreation Office.

Please register now and help us plan how many uniforms and how much equipment we'll need for the season.

The focus of Garden City Basketball is our intramural program. Our greater mission is to provide a wonderful expe-rience for all of our participants so that a love of the life long game of basketball will be nurtured and grow.
